Birthday Notes + Happy Weekend
As I mentioned yesterday, it was my oldest daughters 2nd birthday. While she did not quite understand the meaning of birthday, she definitely understood balloons and cake and that it was all for her.
This is a photo of my dining room. I tried to keep everything very simple for her birthday celebration at home. I made the paper flower blooms hanging on the chandelier. They added a little whimsy color to the table and were really fun and easy to make. I’m thinking about making these paper blooms a birthday tradition.
As for the weekend, I’m hoping to get a chance to work on the non-existent landscape around our house. Shortly after moving in to our home, my oldest daughter was born and so that summer we just did not have much opportunity to plant and organize our landscape (nor did we really care!). Last summer, I was pregnant and too tired to think about it. But we will have to wait and see what the weekend brings.
Next week I have some interesting finds I will be discussing and a new online trend to share. As always, have a great weekend and take care!
