Happy Weekend + All the Luck in the World
I can’t believe that yet another week has gone by and that the weekend is fast approaching. I hope you have something exciting planned for the weekend. Maybe a picnic, exploring a new shop, working on your artwork, spending time with family – whatever it is, wallow in the moment and enjoy. My plan is to hit a craft show on Saturday and maybe work on a sewing project I have. While on the subject of sewing, I think that All the Luck in the World, a Dutch vintage shop, has got one of the greatest ideas I have seen in a while. The idea is to use an old blanket and repurpose it as a chair/bench cover. To add interest, they embroider flowers, vines, and some whimsy onto the blanket. The results are stunning!

To achieve the soft look of these chairs, use a fuzzy wool or mohair blanket.
If you get a chance to try this project, take some photos – I’d love to see them! As always, have a great weekend and we will meet up again next week.
