Beachy Living Rooms

I would really love to own a beach house.  For years, my husband and I have talked about buying a home in either South Carolina or Florida (Georgia was added recently).  We came close a few times to purchasing a place, but for one reason or another it did not work out.  Right now is a great time to buy, but our circumstances are not in line for purchasing a beach house.  With a new house, a toddler, a newborn, and a rental home, we are just not ready to add beach house to the list of responsibilities.  However, I still dream of having a beach house one day that I can decorate like this…

I was just thinking a few weeks ago how I would like to purchase an old buffet and paint it turquoise and use it as a tv stand in my bedroom.  This living room from My Home Ideas has the buffet I was thinking of.

Also from My Home Ideas -  this is not your typical coastal living room, but it still works.  The white chair and sofas bring this room right back to the beach.
