Newly Released Decor Books

I have been looking at some of the newly released decorating books and am thinking about ordering some.  Luckily for us, this subject has tons of available material and is always emerging with new viewpoints and attitudes.   I’m really excited about 3 books and not sure which one to order first!  I love to look at new concepts and enjoy the energized feeling generated by the ideas presented.

The first book I’ve been considering is 1000 Ideas for Home Design and Decoration.  This book discusses decorating your home and showcases designers from around the world.  The book is over 400 pages and at less than $20 bucks, it might be a really great buy.

While I don’t live in the city, I am always interested in what’s new in urban decor.  Rooms to Inspire in the City: Stylish Interiors for Urban Living is the latest book available on this subject.

DIY Art at Home offers 28 projects and includes templates in the book.  I found it interesting that this book has a color palette layout very similar to what I use for my paintings.

I have always found these to be not only helpful when painting but also when decorating.  I think the color palettes are almost pretty enough to frame! I just love color!
