Trip Updates
Just stopping by quickly to say “hi” and post some random photo’s of our trip. So far, we are having a wonderful time and wish we had more time here to explore.
From top to bottom, left to right: Light Fixture in Grand Hotel (love the green!), Sunflower decorated bike, Rose growing near Grand Hotel pool, and a Phone Booth at The Jockey Club.
Today we spent time in Sault Ste. Marie namely at the Soo Locks. We watched some really huge ships pass by (one ship measured over 1,000 ft.). Then we saw the world’s oldest operational hydro plant constructed by Edison in 1906. Brick layers from Italy were specially commissioned to construct the building. It was so stunning that my husband couldn’t resist taking numerous photos from many different angles. If I remember, I will post some of his photos.
We ended the late afternoon by going to the beach in St. Ignace.
