Unique Living Room

House Beautiful ran an article titled, “A Modern Farmhouse Kitchen with an Unusual Layout“.  It features a kitchen in the living room.  Ruard Veltman said he “…dreamed of a house where you really do cook and eat and live in one room”.  Interestingly enough, I knew a guy who did a similar thing.  He dragged his hardly ever used dining room table into his living room because this was the epicenter of his home.  All of his entertaining, tv watching, reading, eating, and even napping happened in the living room.  Now, he uses his dining room table on a daily basis.  What happened to his dining room?  It was turned into an office.  So practical!

I love your site.normally I don’t leave my email for strangers but I liked this blog + photos so much I signd up for updates with my email about 4 or 6 weeks ago & have not received anything yet.
I also love Carolyn Quartermain, I have her book and when I visited Riad Eniya in Marrakech which is owned by a very stylish Swiss woman I slept in Rooms decorated by Carolyne Q, It was heaven in colors…what can I say ! Hope to get some updates, Thank you for beeing so creative,
