Passport in One Hand, Shopping Bag in Other
I may have mentioned this before, but I really feel lucky to be near the Canadian border (near is about an hour away). When I’m looking to shop for something different, be it home accessories or fashion, I just pop over the border and hit the Canadian stores. I say “Canadian” because some of the stores are actually the same chains we already have available to us here in the States. So why bother looking at what I’ve already seen? I’m here for something different!
Yesterday I spent the entire day in Windsor, Canada and came home with a some great items! Here are a few of them…

Ok, the ruffles and wool have me in this winter season. It’s girly, it’s chic – I adore it! I couldn’t pass these up when I saw that the pillows were removable. The orange casserole dish measures about 8″ across, can be put directly in the oven, is dishwasher/microwave safe, and was $8 CAN. This is the perfect size for our family. Not to mention, I don’t like handling huge cooking dishes. They can be difficult to store and we end up with so much leftovers. I also got a bottle of Efferve, a French sparkling water with lemon. When I opened the bottle last night, it was so pressurized that it was as if I opened a bottle of Champagne. The taste is a bit on the sweet side, but with a few ice cubes it works better for me. Can’t wait to go again!
